The Coleção de Invertebrados Aquáticos e Coleoptera da Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste (CIAC) (Collection of Aquatic Invertebrates and Coleoptera of the Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste) is located in the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste, Irati campus. At CIAC there are two sub-collections: Aquatic Invertebrates, comprising material collected primarily in the Southeast region of Paraná; and Coleoptera, with several families, but mainly Lycidae beetles from all Brazilian regions, as well as material from Paraguay, French Guiana and Nicaragua.
